 Spring is a perfect time for stepping out of our busy lives to recharge, renew and recalibrate.

You will practice Radiant Body Yoga, a powerful methodology that allows for profound healing, evolution, and transformation. Polina will share a powerful combination of Hatha/Vinyasa yoga to connect you to your body an tap into inner strength, Kundalini and Kriya yoga to increase your energy and inner awareness, and practices of meditation, mantra, and pranayama (breath practices) to calm the mind and cultivate radiant joy.

This retreat doesn’t just offer standard classes, it provides an experience of yourself that allows for nervous system shifts in such a way that you can maintain more aligned and positive habits when you return home.

   When you take the time to strengthen your body and nervous system, and to check in with your emotions and mind in this way, you develop the strong back and open heart that you need in order to face your challenges and any darkness you may encounter throughout life. As you connect to this strong but soft space within yourself, you will find it easier to approach life with compassion, joy and calmness. 

   This retreat is for all levels of practitioners, and part of the intention is to provide you with tools and knowledge of your own unique nervous system. Whether you are looking for more focus, deepened strength, an ability to surrender, a connection to intuition, or anything else, Polina will help you create a unique practice to take with you that will support you upon your return home.

As you find yourself in the nourishing nature of the Poconos, PA,  surrounded by rolling hills and scenic views, you will notice that it becomes easier to breathe, unwind, and tune into your true nature.

To support your experience, the retreat center offers clean and simple rooms with a minimal, peaceful design. Here, your mind can be free from distractions as you enjoy the beautiful and peaceful surroundings. 

In your free time you can go on a hike, contemplate by the Sunset pond, explore the beauty of the Sound of Music Hill, go on excursion at Moka Origins Factory to enjoy organic chocolate or relax with a massage at the spa.

You are welcome to meditate at the Heart of the Himalayan Institute -the Sri Vidya Shrine. It has served as a sanctuary, a sacred space dedicated to meditative practice, which is open to seekers from all traditions.

Your experience will be supported by nutritionally balanced vegetarian meals which are consciously prepared with the intention to nourish body, mind, and spirit.  



For more than fifty years, the Himalayan Institute’s Retreat Center has been a gathering place for people seeking inspiration and aspiring to restore inner balance. 

Here, only two and half hours away from NYC, you can enjoy the peaceful campus, taking time out from habitual distractions and the bustle of everyday life.

All rooms reflect Conscious Simplicity approach. The combination of  peaceful design and the comfort of high quality mattresses and pillows and the quietness of the surrounding land ensure a peaceful night’s sleep. The Himalayan Institute does their part to be environmentally friendly through the efficient use of water, energy, and materials.

STANDARD QUEEN/FULL$338 USD (A private bedroom with 1 Queen/Full and a sink; community hallway bath)
DELUXE SUITE $560 USD per person (A deluxe suite with a full or queen-sized bed and pullout sofa bed. Includes a separate bedroom and sitting room area). 

ROOM CANCELLATION & REFUD (the Himalayan Institute policy)

We offer a full refund to guests who cancel their reservation at least seven days before arrival unless you are informed your program has additional restrictions. If you cancel between 7 days and 1 day in advance, a nonrefundable credit to your HI Retreat Center account (less a $50 processing fee) will be held for one year from the date of issue. No credit or refund is available if you cancel on your arrival day, do not show up, or leave a program, event, or accommodation early.


In case of cancelation before April 10th, 2023,  you will receive full refund for the program (minus the PayPal fee). In case of cancelation after April 10th, 50% of the payment will be withheld (unless a replacement is found).

In case of the event being canceled by us or third party, you will receive full refund.

Taxi & Driving Services

Taxi from the bus stop in downtown Honesdale to the Institute can be arranged through the Himalayan Institute (it needs to be arranged 24 hours in advance ). No credit cards. One-way fare is $18.00.
