Nestled in the peaceful Pocono Mountains at the Himalayan Institute, this weekend invites you to step away from your routines, responsibilities and constant noise – and give yourself the rare gift of PAUSE. 

As we move towards spring, this is a beautiful time to RESET your energy, reconnect with yourself and REALIGN with how you want to move forward through the year. 

Just two and a half hours from New York City, yet it feels like stepping into a completely different world- quieter, slower, and deeply nourishing. 

What You’ll Experience:

  • Reset & Realign 

Be guided through practices from Hatha, Vinyasa, Kundalini, Himalayan Kriya traditions, along with Meditation and Breathwork, designed to de-stress your nervous system, calm your mind, and connect you to your heart.

  • Stillness & Nature

Meditate in the Sri Vidya Shrine, a sacred spiritually awakened meditation space. Go for a hike or a quiet walk to experience the restorative power of nature.

  • Connection 

Share soulful conversations, meaningful moments, and simple shared experiences with like-minded community.

  • Spacious Time  

Enjoy time to rest, journal, explore the Himalayan Institute grounds or visit chocolate factory.

Nestled in the rolling hills of the Poconos, the Himalayan Institute’s picturesque 400-acre campus offers breathtaking views, scenic trails, and peaceful spaces for reflection and contemplation.

👉 Retreat Tuition ($400) is paid directly to Polina Kalyuzhina (via Venmo @Polinakyoga) or Zelle (Polina Kalyuzhina /718-844-2415). If paid with credit card processing fee of $20 will be applied.

To support your retreat experience, Himalayan Institute offers clean and simple rooms with a minimal, peaceful design. Here, your mind can be free from distractions as you enjoy the beautiful and peaceful surroundings that the Retreat Center has to offer.

Shared Standard Room with Shared Bathroom

1 guest – $129 per bed, per night/ two people in the room 

 

Each room features two twin beds and a vanity with washbasin, providing a cozy and practical space to unwind. Newly renovated individual bathrooms with showers are located just steps down the hall, giving you everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Private Standard Room with Shared Bathroom

1 guest – $199/night

Choose from two twin beds or one queen/full bed, each featuring a vanity with washbasin.

Deluxe Room

1 guest – $249/night

Deluxe Room is a comfortable and spacious accommodation designed to provide a relaxing stay during your retreat. The room features a private bathroom and your choice of two twin beds, one full bed, or one queen-sized bed.

Deluxe Suite

1 guest – $329/night

Deluxe Suite offers a cozy oasis for rest and renewal with a queen-sized bed, a welcoming sitting area, a writing desk, a pull out sofa, and a private en suite bathroom.

*Please note that this schedule is approximate and may shift slightly to support the group experience and overall flow of the retreat.

What’s included:

  • Three nourishing vegetarian meals per day.
  • Daily yoga and meditation classes.

  • Private yoga studio reserved specifically for our group

  • Exclusive access to the Sri Vidya Shrine
  • Full access to the Himalayan Institute’s 400-acre campus including hiking trails, pond, and bean-to-bar gourmet chocolate and coffee.

What’s not included:

  • Travel to and from the retreat location (can be organized for additional cost).

  • Personal wellness services (e.g., spa treatments, private consultations).

  • Additional snacks or specialty beverages outside of provided meals.

Payment+cancellation policy

ACCOMODATIONS:

Himalayan Institute offer a full refund to guests who cancel their reservation at least seven days before arrival unless you are informed your program has additional restrictions. If you cancel between 7 days and 1 day in advance, a nonrefundable credit to your HI Retreat Center account (less a $50 processing fee) will be held for one year from the date of issue. No credit or refund is available if you cancel on your arrival day, do not show up, or leave a program, event, or accommodation early.

PROGRAM:

Full payment of the program fee ($400) is required to reserve your spot.

• Cancellations made 30 days or more before the retreat will receive a full refund minus a $50 administrative fee.

• Cancellations made 14–29 days before the retreat will receive a 50% refund.

• Cancellations made less than 14 days before the retreat are non-refundable.

If you are unable to attend, you are welcome to transfer your spot to another participant.

Meet Your Guides 

Polina Kalyuzhina 

Shieri Yamafuji 

Polina is a Yoga and Meditation teacher, mentor and international retreat leader. Her teachings blend Vinyasa/Ashtanga, Kundalini, Himalayan Kriya Yoga, Tantra and Meditation to support transformation inside out.
Polina believes in the infinite power of the body and mind, and that with the right tools, we can heal, grow, and live a deeply fulfilling life.

Shieri is Yoga and Pilates practitioner, mindfulness-based personal trainer, and mentor for yoga teachers, specializing in authentic expression and embodied leadership. She is the Training Director of Dou Yoga’s TT and the founder of the Mindfulness Pilates Training. Her teaching is rooted in her own healing journey and extensive training in yoga therapy, Pilates and subtle anatomy. Shieri guides students beyond the physical -towards resilience, self-awareness, and deeper connection between body, breath and mind.
